RADIATION THERAPY

We are a 5 radiation oncologist group practice, providing services at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, and Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Both departments are comprehensive radiation facilities providing the full range of radiation treatment services, and are fully equipped with the very latest state-of-the-art equipment. Both facilities are also part of a growing multidisciplinary cancer center, which has received approval as a comprehensive community cancer center by the American College of Surgeons. This accreditation is given only to select community hospitals, which must adhere to the strictest of guidelines, including a tumor registry and weekly tumor boards.

Our physician group is unique in being the only group in South Florida to have 3 doctors who are fellowship trained in brachytherapy; and we offer the full range of brachytherapy services. Our prostate seed implant program is in fact the busiest in South Florida. Our physicians are also board certified in radiation oncology, and offer services in both English and Spanish. Our support staff is experienced and well trained, and all are full-time and on-site. They include board certified physicists, board certified dosimetrists, radiation therapists, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and rehab personnel.
